I am a graduate of Lakeside School of Massage Therapy (now Herzing University) in Milwaukee, WI. My interest in body and therapeutic studies started with my love for dance.
After obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management with studies in dance and theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato, I spent four years in New York City working as an arts administrator and soaking in all the varied movement classes I could from Simonson technique, Gyrotonics, Bikram Yoga, Pilates, and many others.
I was able to develop a massage therapy career in Indianapolis that included table-based massage, hospital massage, and research. When our family relocated to Minnesota I added group fitness instructor to my list of things I love to do (breath & body awareness!). The year before COVID hit, I was a corporate chair massage guru. Now I am integrating my knowledge of trauma into bodywork sessions.
My primary goal is to aid people in becoming aware of their bodies. By identifying the cause of our aches and pains, we can create ease for ourselves with the best treatment(s) possible.
